The vision of Anantara Peace Haven Resort and Residences, Tangalle, Sri Lanka was to create an internationally respected tourist destination – a sanctuary where one could take refuge from the busy world and hectic lifestyle. More
With the property inspired by the Sri Lankan architecture, the pristine Tangalle coastline and the existing coconut plantation, our direction extended that style with contemporary flair with the use of recycled Sri Lankan railway sleepers combined with oxidised steel and copper. Way-finding systems worked with the undulating contours of the property and existing palm tree groves to achieve seamless transitions from public to private spaces.
With construction started late 2013 the final results will be quite outstanding. Watch out for further updates soon.
