The Anti-Drugs Book
Singapore’s National Council Against Drug Abuse pro-bono project based around true life situations and the death penalty for drug abuse in Singapore.
This book was launched as part of a larger educational push to deliver a strong message to would be drug abusers in Singapore. Built around a young man who was facing the death penalty by hanging in Changi Prison the pages that followed were his outpourings of love hate and mistakes he had made along the way to that point. A touching and sometimes desperate story, it’s intention was to pull the reader into a world of drug abuse and at the same time subtly offer areas where one could go to for support.
Having won several awards in Singapore and overseas the book went on to become an integral part of a Ministry of Education programme in local Singapore schools, culminating in road shows and talks from local government drug enforcement agencies.
