Collective Work – Quentin Berryman
(Completed during Quentin’s tenure at Batey Ads, Singapore)
The flag carrier and 5-star airline of Singapore. Founded in 1947, a local start up advertising agency Batey Ads were given the right to market the airline, eventually selecting the sarong and kebaya-clad air stewardesses as an icon for the airline and calling them Singapore Girls.
As custodian of the brand during his tenure at Batey Ads his role was to develop new products for Sinagpore Airlines, from Economy Class, Business and First Class identities and lounges to Boeing 747 celebratory liveries. Working closely with Batey Ads founder Ian Batey a strong understanding of brand management and collaboration was instilled. A trye testament to his work is that many of projects are still around to this day.
