The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s national land use planning authority. URA prepares long term strategic plans, as well as detailed local area plans, for physical development, and then co-ordinates and guides efforts to bring these plans to reality. For the past 7 years, the agency has consistently communicated and documented their strategies through their corporate literature. Not to mention garnering a few awards and press releases along the way for it’s meticulous design and art direction.
For their 30th anniversary, our communication approach celebrates 30 years of their endeavours and at the same time mapping out what lies ahead for the future. We trawled URA’s press archives and materials and also worked closely with the National Archives of Singapore to conceive three key images to depict three decades worth of guiding, shaping and planning to create Singapore with a distinctive identity.
