We were commissioned to art direct, style and produce a 6-day photoshoot at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, Shanghai. As well as art directing and styling the main shoot, Quentin was also commissioned to capture the hotel through his own eyes. These images were then used to support the main set of room shots. A showcase of photographic work and insights by Quentin Berryman, distinctive images that imaginatively capture defining moments, unique expressions and vivid details can be found at Qube Lightbox.
A fun trivia: The Waldorf is probably most famous for it’s salad which was first created at the New York Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in 1896 not by a chef but by the Maître d’Hôtel, (Dining Room Manager).
